Thanks for the awesome travelogues. Kunming is really a good hub for transit where I flied to Kathmandu recently. Then I saw stark contrasts upon arrival at Tribhuvan Airport. By the way I didn't find ch (direct) flights from Kunming to India (perhaps Bombay and Delhi). Can anyone care to enlighten? Or provides more air options to India?

Kunming is a brilliant airport and again caught us in surprise when we saw this Chinese airport which can give many world class very renowned airports a run for their money. Though Kunming is 4th largest airport after Beig, Shanhai-Pu and Guang in China, very few countries in world can boast of such a modern airport. The direct India connection from Kunming is to Kolkata in India which is having less than 2 hours of flying time and the flight is operated daily by China Eastern. It is the chest connection from China to India where you get round trip in around 17500 INR, which is around 1750 CNY.

虽然昆明机场是仅次于北京首都国际机场、上海浦东机场和广州机场的第4大机场，然而世界上很少国家能吹嘘拥有这种级别的现代机场。
