外文标题：One Month Family Trip to Xinjiang, China's Central Asia and incredible Tibet
Kudos to China, what an amazing road they built even in this remote terrain and this is simply a shortcut connector from Friendship Highway (318) to Tibet-Xinjiang Highway (219) and this stretch is not part of any highway:
Awe Inspiring vista is simply amazing!! :
Now you need to do off-roading to reach close to Lake:
Approaching Pieku Tso
Off-roading in the blessed land:
While this log has thrown all possible colors, the white is the one I like most.
Awe inspiring vistas indeed. The whole trip is like going through a dreamland.
it's correctly to say, Tibet also includes some north-western part of India like Leh and some north-eastern part of India like Arunachal Preadesh.
Actually it's other way round, historically Ngari region of Tibet was part of Ancient Ladakh which always ruled by independent dynasties and consists of Baltistan (Currently in Pakistan with its capital as Skardu), Zanskar, Lahaul-Spiti and Rutog and Guje of Ngari (now in Tibet). Ladakhi language though use Tibetan script but their usage of language and how they pronounce is completely different than the Tibetan being practiced in Amdo, Kham or Lhasa region. Historically Ladakh was more closely connected to Xinjiang than Tibet as the famous trade route from Leh to Yarkhand/Kashgar was thriving since 1st Century until China stops trade through it in 1949.
Better we shouldn't get confused between cultural similarities and modern days political boundaries, by doing so you would offend our Chinese friends more than the Indian friends as in same logic of yours Tibet should never be a part of China as Tibet has no cultural similarity with China. Similarly Xinjiang should be divided in 4 parts and be part of Mongolia, Kazakhstan, Kyrghizstan and Tajikistan Better respect the current political boundaries and refrain from discussing anything that creates a dispute.
Thanks you so much, yes i will following your log definitely, but my shaky English does not let me to complete express my point of view, the trip was really great,my mom pregnance in Tibet when my father as a engineer builded a hydropower stations in 1991,so i can say i and Tibet must have some predestination, but i grow up in chengdu, Sichuan province.Have never got a chance been to Tibet,my friends and i have a plan to go to Tibet last summer holiday, but we temporary changed the schedule,it now seems a pity.
But through out all your log I decided a next long travel sites must be Tibet ,as my high school teacher said sichuan-tibet road is the road that must to drive to.
Thanks for coming back and sharing your thoughts!! No problem, we could very well understand your English and your view point. So you already have a close connection with Tibet my dear friend and I wish you soon be able to visit that wonderful place. Yes, I too heard a lot about both Sichuan - Lhasa and Yunan - Lhasa highway and dream someday I too can take the drive. Since 2009, the road in Amdo region is closed for foreigners and no foreigners are allowed to cross that section of Western Sichuan / Yunan overland to enter TAR. I pray someday this restriction would be withdrawn and we would be able to drive this amazingly scenic route.
