As seen from the Friendship Highway -- Extreme Left Mt. Lhotse (8516 meter, 4th Highest ), Then from Left to Right Mt. Everest (8848 meter), Mt. Gyachung Kang (7952 meter, 15th Highest), Mt. Cho Oyu (8201 meter, 6th Highest) .. Mt. Makalu (8485 meter, 5th Highest) is just missing from sight in extreme left which is visible from Pang La on the way to EBC. I don't think you would find a place in earth from where you can see 4 peaks above 8000 meter and 26 odd peaks over 7000 meters from a motorable road.

从友谊公路看去,最左边的是洛子峰(海拔8516米,世界第4高峰)、接着是珠峰(海拔8848米)、格仲康峰(海拔7952米、世界第15高峰)、卓奥友峰(海拔8201米,世界第6高)...这里看不到马卡鲁峰(8485米,世界第5高),前往珠峰大本营的路上可以看到。我想在地球上找不到其他地方可以同时看到4座海拔8000米以上高峰的

they are simply light years ahead of us in terms of development of infrastructure. Even backward provinces like njiang / Tib having more than 10 airports and all are operational and all districts have flight connectivity to province capital daily, this is still a dream for us in India. Our rail project takes 30 years but still not completed when we try to connect Kashmir Valley, yet Chinese built ning - Lhasa rail road in flat 5 years on such a high altitude, permafrost terrain. China can built and maintain a concrete road over high Himyan range to connect Lhasa with Kathmandu and over Taklkan Desert to connect Northern and Southern njiang, they built Karakoram Highway to connect Kashgar with Islbad over Karakoram and Kunlun range and high Pamir. China is connecting Urumqi to Lang in a fast rail corridor where trains would travel 350kmph in just 3 years and the terrain would cross Tienshan, Kunlun mountain ranges and Gobi Desert. We are just not anyway near them as long as infrastructure development is concerned.

就基础设施发展而言,他们遥遥领先我们。即便和等落后省份也有10个机场,而且每个机场都是能用的,都有航班每天飞往其他省会,而这仍然是印度的一个梦想。

我们通往克什米尔峡谷的铁路修了30年,仍然未完工,而中国人仅花5年时间就在如此高的海拔,而且是永久冻土层上修建了西宁-拉萨铁路。

中国可以在喜马拉雅山脉上修建并保养一条混泥土公路连接拉萨和加德满都;可以修建一条贯穿塔克拉玛干沙漠连接北疆和南疆的公路;可以修建穿越喀喇昆仑山脉和帕米尔高原连接喀什和ysl堡的喀喇昆仑公路。

中国正在修建一条连接乌鲁木齐和兰州的高铁走廊,途经天山山脉、昆仑山脉和戈壁沙漠,全程仅要3个小时,旅行时速高达350公里每小时。

就基础设施发展而言,我们连他们的边都沾不上。
