This Blog is an epic.... Kaushik Da I am not able to con trate on any thing and the breath taking photos are just pulling me away.. Wish I could pack my bags, get my DSLR with wide angle lens and tripod.... and then zooooomm away.. In fact I was lost for some hours while reading your blog...No words simply I have no words..

@kshil I'd disagree to your view that Chinese dont "like " to project "this China" to foreigners. u certainly understand in demogrophy most Chinese are populated in the eastern part where economy is relatively dynamic (with more highlight therefore) while the western part like njiang and Tib are "reme" with less infra hence not many Chinese ourselves travel to.

I partly agree with you It's not just about economy, Han Chinese are not very comfortable in U dominated cities like Kashgar, Hotan due to Ethic conflicts. And the context where I said Chinese don't like to project this China to foreigners because, they deny visa for foreigners when visitors mention njiang / Tib where as they are liberal with anyone like to travel to Beig / Shanghai / Guang.
