ahh...can't agree with u more...i have spent 7 beautiful years in that country...zhonguo..u dont really miss fb when u have so much to see...i was in tian so can relate to it more than other people on this site..specially the delicious kebab(yangrou quar and nan),u reminded me of the njiang restaurant near my home(i cudnt cook so ate there almost everyday)...cheers...

我呆在天津，聊起中国来比本站的其他网友更头头是道。特别是美味的烤羊肉串，让我想到了家附近的餐厅（我不会做饭，所以几乎天天去）
This is an important part of any planning to this region, China is a very much controlled state and information is few and far, also getting latest yet correct information is quite a big challenge even for big travel agents. So whatever I am writing here is current regulation as on Sep/Oct 2013 which might get changed anytime (during my preparations in this year itself rules change several times), take an idea but do your own research before taking this trip. Best way is to connect as many as local travel agents (who can speak atleast some english) and then use their network to get more details about that, it is time taking and plan your travel accordingly.
中国是一个管制很严的国家，信息很少，要想获得最新的信息对大的旅行社来说也是一个相当大的挑战。
这些是2013年9月和10月期间的情况，也许现在有改变（今年准备出发之前，规定就改了好几次）
出发之前要好好研究一番。
最好的办法是尽量多联系当地旅行社（至少能说一些英语），然后利用他们的关系网获得更详细的信息。
