外文标题：China electric-vehicle makers seek to plug into Gujarat
AHMEDABAD: The city could soon see electric ambulances, police cars and even buses manufactured by Chinese companies. China’s electrical vehicle manufacturing industry is exploring investments in Gujarat and also eyeing an industrial park here.
A seven-member delegation from China was in the city for two days to identify a location and seek partners for joint ventures. The delegation visited Tata’s Nano plant in Sanand on Thursday.
The delegation was in the state as part of an event hosted by China India Trade and Investment Centre (CITIC). “A key advantage of hybrid or plug-in electric vehicles is regenerative braking due to their capability to recover energy that is normally lost during braking, as electricity is stored in the on-board battery. For the first time, we may soon see police cars, BRTS buses, ambulances and even road cleaning vehicles being manufactured by these Chinese companies in India,” said Jagat Shah, secretary general of CITIC.
The delegation members included manufacturers of electrical vehicles for SUVs, two and three wheelers, road cleaning vehicles, city sanitary car, ambulance, police car, among others. The chairman of the China Electrical Car Association and Wenzhou Electrical Car Association was part of the delegation. Among companies at the delegation were Green Field Motor Co Ltd, VOCH Group Ltd, YueHua Control Group Ltd., Zhuji Yongcheng Auto Co. Ltd., Wenzhou Jinpi Machinery Manufacturing Co Ltd and JBON Control Industry.

ITS CALLED ECONOMIC THIGLAQ — Electric vehicles are too costly and a Big Drain on Public funds even in china so they export to Idiots like USA , EU and Dumb Modi ‘s India………..only E-rickshaw and 2 wheelers are cost effective solution…rest are Too costly only Economic Thuglaqs will Buy this Stuff

You are wrong, the scope for producing electricity in India is cost effective compared to hydrocarbons. Further the the whole of petrol producing Arab nations is in turmoil and OPEC countries are blackmailing the oil importing countries. In case of electric vehicles a little physical effort is required to keep the machine in shape. But due to laziness we are not prepared to accept it.

Communist country doesn’t mean it is bad. Communism is a very good ideology if you think in the idealistic sense. But the world is becoming less and less idealistic. Chinese goods generally have a bad reputation of being of short lifespan. That is the only problem.
vishal (Bangalore, India) replies to Pramod MB
true, but with increasing labor cost there is no other choice.

Government instead of focusing of electrical vehicles should instead focus on other clean and alternative sources of energy which includes ethanol to solve the energy problem being faced by the country. In fact electrical vehicles would be suicidal step as the country is currently electricity deficit.

No Gujju has ever won a war by dying for his country, because there are no Gujjus in the Army or Security forces. Also Greedy unscrupulous Businessmen and Industrialists will support WAR if they think that they can make Money and Profit out of WAR.

If you think everybody should go to Army and security forces.. then you wouldn’t be able to eat your daily bread brother.. each and everybody should contribute to the society in which ever way they feel comfortable.

You cannot serve the country only by fighting on borders. There are other ways of serving the country and one of them is by being the entrepreneurs and creating jobs for the people. Gujjus have done this to the perfection.
