Subhashi Buddha Ruins
Grand Pagoda of Subhasi Ruins:
Soaking yourselves in 3rd Century, somewhere around 1700 years back, makes you feel amazing:
Subhashi Ruins, notice the temple structure at top, 1700 years old
When one hears China, there is a very typical image that comes to mind.
These images are surely not those kind of images. This just doesn't "feel" like China.
Simply spectacular show. Loving it.
Nitin, you are so true, China's typical image is crowded places, maddening rush and too many tall buildings and most importantly lifeless artificiality. This is a refreshing break from that but somehow Chinese don't want to project this China to outside world, they would be happier if you travel and like places like Beijing, Shanghai and Guangzhou, development means 5 levels of ring roads, 30 flyovers, 20 underpasses, bullet trains, high speed corridor, concrete roads, sky high buildings to them but they don't have much regard to thousand years of histories, human culture, emotion, sensitive issues like belief, faith, religion, which saddened me.
Wow. This log is back to life again. I hope we see many updates soon. And I would like to say that apart from pics, the whole planning of the trip is also spectacular.
Thanks Ashish for following the log and your words of appreciation. Chinese are so unpredictable, without detail planning, pulling out a trip of 30 days with family is little difficult. So I was forced to plan in details
