外文标题：China opens world’s highest railway tunnel
The world’s highest tunnel for high-speed trains is now open in northwest China.
At an altitude of 3,607.4 metres, the 16.3-km-long tunnel will link Gansu and Xinjiang provinces.
One of the most daunting engineering projects, the tunnel which passes through the Qilian Mountains, also has a bridge.
It is expected to reduce the travel time between Lanzhou and Urumqi to eight hours from about 20 hours.
The Lanxin (Lanzhou-Xinjiang) High-Speed Rail Line, also known as the Lanzhou-Urumqi High-Speed Railway is a 1,776 km high-speed line expected to be completed by 2015.
The $23 billion railway is one of the major infrastructure projects in China.

India far behind from China because of dirty politics of India which is taking it back and mostly due to Muslims anti India acts.

Sai Ram,again your ignorance is exposed,China’s production of iron ore annually is 1200 million tonnes, whereas India annual production is 240 million tonnes. China does not need iron ore from India,as its stock is many times that of ours. It was Yeduryappa & his BJP ministers(Srimalu & Bellary Reddy brothers)who extracted illegally iron ore from Bellary and shipped & sold it to China @ dirt rates, and made black money, and BJP has brought back these scoundrels and anti-nationalists back into the party.Modi, says he will erase corruption from India, when he cannot remove corrupt netas from his party, this “feku” will do nothing.

India is a country, where people of multi-religons,castes,languages,racial features reside,i.e we are a heterogenous country. China in that respect is lucky that their demography is 97% Han Chinese, and add to that it has a single party government, due to which decision making & taking is much swifter. Moreover Chinese have in the last 30 years achieved over 10% growth annually, with the result that as per today only 8-10% of the Chinese population is lying below the poverty line. Also since Chinese leaders took the decision in 1978 to open up the country for all round manufacturing millions of Chinese got jobs and it is still continuing, due to which they have built up a huge export market, and a large trade surplus with all countries, huge foreign exchange stock, due to which their goods have market access to all the 205 countries listed on UN. Which is not the situation with India, we have nearly 30% of our population in BPL, chose IT way which gives employment oppurtunities to much lesser number of people, and that too of a particular skill, which has resulted in our trading with hardly 70-75 countries. Thus our leaders have to switch over to manufacturing in order to increase our exports and GDP.

You are perfectly right Mr. Roy that religion dispute and political influence has kept India far behind than China. We should also have a National plan, which has to be implemented by all, irrespective of any Government ruling. If any party will keep the benefit of the Nation above all the agenda then our country will also grow without any obstacle. But unfortunately it is not happening, Personal benefits are achieving on the cost of the Naion.
